I don't give many 5-star reviews. This is a book where the underdog (or the Rogue) triumphs over the wizards and wise men. This book combines technology and dead-tree books - two of my favorite things. This book features kick-ass old guys, and I like old people who don't just sit and rot. This book has so much to offer!
And the plot works, the characters are memorable and the dialog sounds like actual dialog. Oh, Mr. Penumbra, you have stolen my heart!
